SPRINT CENTREX
AUTOMATIC LINE
SPRINT CENTREX AUTOMATIC LINE
allows a user to be automatically routed to a destination by either going off-hook or pressing a DN key.
Assign a 1 to 15 digit number to this key (
* and # can not be used
)
When the key is pushed, it will automatically dial the assigned number.
Paging
is a good example. The customer can not change the number assigned to this key like they can on an AUD ( Auto Dial Key).
It must be changed by the Processor.
Automatic Line is a directory number feature that can be assigned to individual DN appearances on a Meridian Business Set, including the Primary DN. When an off-hook is reported from a DN appearance to which an AUL has been assigned, a connection is automatically established to a predetermined location.
On Meridian Business Sets, the off-hook is performed either by pressing the DN key or by lifting the receiver from its cradle, in which case the primary DN is automatically selected. The terminating location is specified by the digits entered through service order when the feature is assigned.
Speed Calling and Automatic Dials are not compatible with the Automatic Line feature.
