CENTREX MUSIC ON HOLD
Music-on-Hold can be added to Centrex Lines. It requires a music source such as a radio, to be installed at the customers business. It then requires an order to install a Music Circuit from the customers site --- to the nearest Sprint Central Office. It is not an easy task to coordinate. In addition, the feature must be added to each Centrex Line that is to have the feature. There is a Monthly charge for each line. Plus there is a Monthly charge for the Music circuit.
The Customers Responsibility
It is the customers responsibility to provide the Audio Source that is used for the
Music on Hold feature. We can install the Jack, label it for them, and test the Audio source for them.
We can even install special cables that they provide, for the purpose of connecting to their Audio
source. We can assist the customer in hooking up and testing the Audio but we are not allowed to
provide the Audio or do maintenance on the Audio Source or the customer provided cables.
