CALL FORWARD UNIVERSAL
SPRINT CENTREX CALL FORWARD UNIVERSAL
allows the user to program what DN all calls are to go to when this button is activated.
Any DN key that is Prime to this phone will follow the Forwarding assigned to this key. The user can turn the feature on or off at will. When this Forwarding is activated, it overrides any other Forwarding that is assigned to this station. For instance, if you have your calls Forwarded to your Voice Mail Box on a Busy or No answer condition and you activate this feature, CFU, your calls are going to be routed to the number you have programmed under your call forward button.
To Program
your Call Forward Universal Key, Push it and it will start flashing. It is in the Programming Mode. Dial the number that you want the calls to go to THEN push the CFU button again. It will stop flashing and stay lit. As Long as it is Lit, the feature is activated and your calls will be sent to the number you Programmed.
To De-activate
CFU, Push the CFU Key and the Light will go out.
To Re-activate
CFU to the same number that is stored under it, Push it Twice. The first time you push it you are in the program mode. If you have a Digital Display you will see the number that is stored under the Key. Push the CFU Key a second time and it will be activated. You will always be optioned the opportunity to change the number before activating this feature.
If Digital Business Sets are unplugged or deactivated while CFU is in operation ( CFU lamp lit ), You will find it necessary to manually enter the deactivation code, *73, in order to turn off Call Forward Universal.
Single Line Analog phones must Dial feature codes for CFU.
To activate CFU:
* Get Dial Tone and Dial *72 ( hear confirmation tone )
* Dial the number to forward to ( hear confirmation tone )
* Hang up; All Calls are forwarded
To deactivate CFU:
* Get Dial Tone and Dial *73 ( hear confirmation tone )
* Hang up; Calls are no longer forwarded
Caller ID and Call Forward
Call forward on Centrex Lines, passes the Centrex Line's Caller ID, not the caller that is being forwarded.
EXAMPLE
: If I call Dr. Smith, and his Centrex Line is Call Forwarded to his Answer Service, Dr. Smiths
Caller ID information will be forwarded, not mine.
