Week 1
A good grip is the key to dependable swing. Without a good grip, you will have to make another mistake to compensate.

Week 2
Spend most of your time practicing your short game since most of your strokes are played from on and around the green.

Week 3
When playing a greenside bunker shot, work your feet into the sand to feel its texture.

Week 4
Putting is attitude. Give yourself a chance mentally to make it and you just might do it physically.

Week 5
Develop a solid pre-shot routine to visualize the shot in your mind.

Week 6
Give yourself plenty of time to warm up and prepare for your up coming round. Get to the course 1-hour before your tee time to hit some practice balls and putt to get a feel for the greens.

Week 7
Think of the bottom of the swing arc as a flat spot about the length of a dollar bill. Hit your irons at the back of the dollar bill and your driver at the front of it.

Week 8
Always trust your first instinct when reading greens. Second-guessing yourself usually leads to a missed putt.

Week 9
To hit a low shot, simply move the ball back in your stance and use a lower lofted club with a little more weight on your left foot.

Week 10
The most logical correction if you are hitting the ball on the heel of the club, is to move farther from the ball and make the same swing.

Week 11
All good players come into the ball with the right elbow close to the right hip. Ideally, once the right elbow is in front of the hips, the hips should turn to the left, more commonly called "clearing" the hips.

Week 12
In the neutral grip, the clubface is aligned with the back of the lead hand.

Week 13
Contrary to popular belief, the head does move during the golf swing.

Week 14
A square alignment is the first step to counterbalancing pushes and pulls.

Week 15
For a quick hook, aim right and close the clubface.

Week 16
For a quick slice, aim left and open the clubface.

Week 17
As in all shots, the two factors that control direction are the clubface alignment at impact and the clubhead path at impact.

Week 18
The downswing is initiated by turning the hips to the left. The shoulders, arms, and hands-in that order- then release their power.

Week 19
The backswing plane runs from the ball through the shoulders.

Week 20
Keep your elbows and arms as close together as possible throughout the entire swing.

Week 21
Keep your mind clear of mechanics while swinging the golf club. There simply isn't time to think during the swing.

Week 22
If you can learn to keep your feet and hands moving at the same speed during the swing, you will achieve incredible balance.

Week 23
Properly fit clubs are a must if you want to play your best golf. See your local PGA Professional.

Week 24
Take more club than you need and swing easy.

Week 25
To develop trust in your putting stroke, hit a few putts with your eyes closed.

Week 26
Regrip your clubs at least twice a year.
