Sprint's Type 2B End Office Interconnection offers you a trunk-side connection to a Sprint end office switch that uses either Multi-frequency (MF) or Common Channel Signaling/Signaling System 7 (CCS/SS7) signaling and supervision. A Type 2B End Office Interconnection provides access to the valid NXX codes served by that end office and remote switches subtending that end office.
A direct interconnection with Sprint alleviates the need to gain access to billing records from other companies. Sprint keeps it all simple for you because our National Wireless Access Center (NWAC) provides a single point of contact for ordering, provisioning and billing. And Sprint's Account Management team provides hands-on support to meet your needs.
Using Sprint's Type 2B End Office Interconnection, you may:
Sprint's Type 2B End Office Interconnection offers Commercial Mobile Radio Services (CMRS) service providers, like you, a trunk-side connection to a Sprint end office switch and provides access to the valid Sprint NXX codes served by that end office and any of Sprint's remotes associated with it. The Type 2B nterconnection can use either MF or CCS/SS7 signaling and supervision.
Sprint's Type 2B End Office Interconnections are typically used between end offices that send large amounts of traffic to each other. These trunks are established when it becomes more efficient and economical to employ direct trunks rather than routing all traffic through the tandem office.
This type of interconnection cannot be used to reach Extended Area Service (EAS) points, Operator Services, 911/E911, or to carry 800 or 900 traffic.
